Hi Good People,
As you know since my retirement, we have been in touch via email and the only time I get a card or written missive would be prior birthdays and other happy occasions like Christmas and New Year. Of course, sympathy cards during illness and condolences at funerals count too as our way of staying connected and I thank you for them.
Through the years many of you have sent or placed me on your circulation lists to receive online cards, videos, spiritual sites and even magic clips. These certainly fill my folders and have grown to such an extent that saving them on this blog seems a better alternative to keeping them on file. Many too are inspirational, educational and worth circulating to friends who have yet had opportunity to view them.
Life is Great and we need to share good thoughts and encourage each other to be as this list shows; a sound motivational and enlightening message for us to emulate :
SUCCESS is
Speaking words of praise;
Cheering other people's ways
Doing just the best we can
with every task and every plan
Silence when speech would hurt
Politeness when the neighbour's curt
Deafness when the scandal flows
Sympathy with others' woes.
Loyalty when duty calls
Courage when disaster falls
Patience when the lines are long
Found in laughter and in song
In the silent times of prayer
In happiness and despair
In all of life and nothing less
We find the thing we call 'SUCCESS'!
